1. OVERVIEW
Nexir ("the Service") is a QR-based lost-and-found platform operated by SPLETOMAX, Jure Zalar s.p., Prevalje, Slovenia ("we", "us", "our").
The Service enables users to generate QR codes linked to items and allows third parties ("finders") to submit reports to the owner of the item.
Nexir acts solely as a communication intermediary and does not guarantee the recovery of any lost items.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
3. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
The Service allows users to:
- Create QR codes
- Activate QR codes via payment
- Receive finder reports via email
- Reactivate QR codes
Finders may:
- Scan QR codes
- Submit reports and optional images
4. NO GUARANTEE OF RECOVERY
Nexir does not guarantee that any lost item will be found or returned.
We are not responsible for the actions, behavior, or reliability of any finder or user.
5. PAYMENTS
- QR code activation: 3 EUR
- Reactivation: 1 EUR
Payments are processed via Stripe. Nexir does not store or have access to payment card data.
6. REFUNDS
All payments are final except in cases where:
- The Service fails due to a technical issue
- A QR code cannot be activated or used
No refunds will be issued for:
- Items not being recovered
- User inactivity
- Misuse of the Service
7. USER OBLIGATIONS
Users agree not to:
- Submit false or misleading reports
- Use the Service for illegal purposes
- Harass or abuse other users
- Attempt to exploit or manipulate the system
8. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
We reserve the right to:
- Suspend or terminate accounts
- Disable QR codes
- Remove content
in case of misuse or violation of these Terms.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexir shall not be liable for:
- Loss or damage of items
- Any indirect or consequential damages
- Actions of third parties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
10. DATA PROTECTION
All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia.
12. CHANGES
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time.
